Gallery 107 is located in the Acorn Theater in Three Oaks and is a new live performance theater. To celebrate the opening, Gallery 107 curator/director Dave Demske hosted an artistic exhibition entitled "Following the Voice Within".

Oranje has been an annual event since 2002, and has an unsurpassed underground following of Indianapolis art enthusiasts. It is an excellent showcase of local music and artists of all kinds. The 2003 show featured painters, sculptors, filmmakers, DJs, photographers, jazz musicians, tattoo artists, graffiti writers. Displaying is an invitation-to-show-only basis, but the event is attended by general public.

Above, you can see Jason pictured with Serotonin and Manhattan on the left, then with Central Park plus four smaller, unnamed works (not featured on this webpage) on the right. The show ran July and August 2003 and featured 17 artists from the Michigan City area as well as some from Columbia College in Chicago. Executive Director for the Lubeznik Center, Lelde Kalmite, complimented Jason by stating that "Poteet's work continues to mature, clearly under the guiding spirit of some of the great American post-World War II painters, including Hoffman, DeKooning and Motherwell", in the July 11, 2003 edition of the Michigan City News-Dispatch. Jason would like to thank Lelde and all of the members of the members of the Area Artists Association for their kind words and support on opening night.
